Seattle, WA
Post #: 1
We're looking for a forward-thinking UI/UX designer who is well-versed in and passionate about UX to help make our product more usable and invoke that highly sought-after "customer delight" experience. We have a great product called PlayOn ( which is a screen shifting / media server that lets you experience online video content (think streaming content sites like Hulu, Netflix, Comedy Central, Crackle, etc.) on TVs and mobile devices so you don't have to be limited to viewing online videos on your computer screen. We're looking for someone who can help us create an amazing customer experience on the TV and mobile devices.

The position description is below. We want to talk to you if you have the relevant experience and this sounds like a project that excites you:

User Interface/User Experience Designer
A multi-product media server company ( is seeking a User Interface/User Experience Designer to design new 10 foot/TV interfaces for our media server product, PlayOn. The UI will define how a consumer browses, searches, selects and watches internet video content on their TV. The consumer facing UI will be used on Google TV, Roku, Wii, and other devices. The User Interface/User Experience Designer will also be responsible for building the PlayOn UI for use on tablets and smartphones. This should be a fun challenge for you as well as a great opportunity to flex your creative and UI/UX muscle and impact how millions of cable cord cutters watch TV. Part-time may also be an option if you're the right fit.

Desired skills and required experience include:
* 10 foot (TV) app UI/UX design
* mobile/tablet app UI/UX design
* understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
