Organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk is returning to Seattle, WA on June 14th, 2014. Thousands of participants will take to the streets of Seattle to be apart of the incredible 16-18 mile journey to assist AFSP continue its mission to fund crucial research, offer educational programs, and provide programs and resources that will benefit those affected by mental disorders and suicide.
We would like to invite you to join the hundreds of passionate and hardworking individuals coming together as a community to create this powerful experience.
• Check-in walk participants
• Set up Opening and Closing ceremonies
• Distribute water to walkers
• Photograph throughout the event
• Serve breakfast to walkers after they cross the finish line

Volunteer shifts range in time from 8:30am on Saturday – 7:30am on Sunday featuring an array of tasks to fit different interests and abilities.
