Take Me Out To The Ballpark - Huskies Concessions to benefit LLS

Saturday, April 5th – 5:30 – 9:30 pm

Be part of the TEAM! Are you better with numbers than with equipment? Do you long to be part of the action but just aren't coordinated? Play the role of LifeSaver extraordinaire! Provide concessions for the hungry hoards and raise funds for local cancer patients and their families.

Join your friends and have fun making a difference for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society while volunteering in a concession stand at the University of Washington Baseball Game on Saturday, April 5th. We will run the concession stand and a portion of the proceeds from the stand goes to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Free food and beverage while working and if time permits you will be able to catch parts of the game (UW plays Oregon.)

Arrive 5:30 pm - wear black pants (any type) and closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals)

Finish 9:30 pm ish

No experience required.

Please do not commit if you don't think you can make it. LLS is charged $50 for each no show out of their donation as there is a minimum number of volunteers required for the stand.

If this day doesn't work for you, there are many more baseball & softball games coming up.

Looking forward to a fun time and making a difference.

This was by far our slowest game all year! It made it nice to have a little extra time to get to know one another and share a little more about what we do to help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Thanks to Taylor, Will, Beccah, Rick & Ruthie for coming out and making a difference. I look forward to volunteering with you all in the future.

Bummer. What about May 4th? It's softball and "FanFest" for softball so a fun busy day. It would be 9:30 am - 1:30 pm

Would have liked to volunteer for this, but I previously offered to volunteer for another organization.

I can't wait to help raise some money! The feel of the ballpark and atmosphere of the game is something that never gets old.

Can't wait to volunteer with you as well. Did you see my email I sent you? I'd like to email you the map so you'll know where you're going for sure and the FAQ's so you'll understand parking, dress, etc and can't add attachments to the emails through meetup that I'm aware of.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
