Il Terrazzo Carmine-Italian $$-$$$ (Pioneer Square)

Il Terrazzo Carmine, established by the late Carmine Smeraldo has become a local institution and continues to be one of Seattle’s true dining anomalies. A highly successful restaurant, “Carmines” sets the bar with unfailingly high standards that have garnered a loyal and refined clientele since it opened its doors in 1984. The cuisine has been acclaimed as Seattle’s best by the media and more importantly, by local diners.

Il Terrazzo Carmine is located in historic Pioneer Square – nestled in an urban-renewed alley with entrances through the vintage lobby on First Avenue South or through the enchanting courtyard in the rear of the building. Mr. Smeraldo’s classic Italian restaurant has been where locals have chosen to return again and again. Arguably the best Italian restaurant in Seattle, Carmines serves classical, authentic Italian cuisine with an uncompromising commitment to unsurpassed excellence of product and service.

From the Ravioloni Di Pesce and La Parmigiana Di Melanzane for lunch to the Linguine Alle Vongole and Lombata Di Vitello for dinner you know you have gone to a place where attention to detail and authenticity is simply a way of life. You have been to other fine dining establishments but nothing compares to an afternoon or evening at Il Terrazzo Carmine.

***Valet Parking in the Merrill Place Parking Garage on King Street – Complimentary after 5pm.

This was DELICIOUS!! And rather upscale for Seattle, very nice ambiance! Highly recommended!

My sister will join too! So we'll be at least 3 and maybe another friend of Krista's too. I called to update the restaurant and they said they will still hold the table for 6 for us just in case we have a 5th! :-) Come join us!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
