Rick Perry talks cavalierly about secession. I say let him go. You believe in a progressive tax system, gun control, universal health care, a woman's right to choose, evolution, global warming, the right to vote, low interest rates on student loans, Keynesian economics, a federal stimulus to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure. "They" don't. It's time for an amicable divorce. Let's talk about how we can bring it about. We can even reach out to the right and have them join in the fight since they so clearly want to live in a country different from ours. That's fine. No hard feelings.
