Difficulty level: This is a 6.5 mile moderate hike.
We’ll be starting this hike at 9:15AM.
We’ll meet at the Information Center at the Reverend’s Ridge Campground.There is a daily pass self service where you can pay for a daily pass at the Reverend's Ridge Campground.
Directions to the Reverend’s Ridge Campground: From Denver take I-70 westbound to CO-58 and travel to the stop light and hang a right onto CO-93. Drive about 1.5 miles on CO-93 to Golden Gate Canyon Road and take a left.
If you’re traveling on 6th Ave westbound just keep on traveling. 6th Ave will turn into CO-93 and then follow the directions above.
From Golden;Take Highway 93 north from Golden one mile to Golden Gate Canyon Road. Turn left and continue 13 miles to the Visitor Center. If you do not have a State Park Pass you will need to stop at the Visitor Center and purchase one for 7 bucks per day.
When you see the visitor center on the right hand side you will want to bear left onto Hwy 46. Travel about 4 miles until you reach Hwy 119. Another 4 miles until you reach Gap Road then follow signs to The Reverend’s Ridge Information Center and Campground. The Raccoon Trail is right behind the Information Center.
