After an enjoyable few evenings hosting outdoors during the summer recently, I would like to host great events during the fall and winter indoors but seating is limited!
The suggested donation for this dinner is a little higher than before but I will be turning things up a few notches:
Course 1 - Smoked Salmon Ice Cream - Premium vodka with smoked salmon, sour cream, heavy cream, and lemon served with a slice of melon.
Course 2 - German Chicken Dumpling Soup
Course 3 - Cucumber Salad - Sliced cucumber, red onions, and dill with a simple vinaigrette.
Course 4 - German Wurst Sampler - Different German sausages sliced and served with German bread (Bauernbrot), cheese and sauerkraut.
Course 5 - Trout with a white wine reduction and fresh dill served with Speitzle
Course 6 - Black Forest Cake
I've been a professional chef for over 10 years and I'm really looking forward to this menu! Feel free to bring your favorite vine. Coffee, sun tea, and water will be served. Since this is Oktoberfest I will also have samplings of German beer to go along with this Oktoberfest celebration as well.
The evening should have the privacy of a dinner party, with the thoughtful innovative dishes of a top restaurant, the difference being you can talk to myself about the ingredients and the recipes I've used, and maybe meet some new interesting friends :)
