Secular Hikers Message Board › Year-End Giving
Colorado Springs, CO
Are you looking for a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to give to at the end of the year to help reduce your tax burden? If your answer is yes, please read further. If your finances are such that you cannot afford to give at this time, have a happy holiday season and do not read further.
If you appreciate attending any of the hikes sponsored by the Hiking Freethinkers, please read further. The Hiking Freethinkers is just a small part of a larger organization.
The Freethinkers of Colorado Springs is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We use our dues and contributions to educate the public and for promoting the separation of church and state. We sponsor monthly articles in the Independent, give small gifts to speakers at the monthly meetings, pay for expenses at the yearly HumanLight celebration, pay for the operation of the websites (www.freethinkerscs.com, www.meetup.com/freethinkers-of-colorado-springs, and www.meetup.com/hiking-freethinkers). On occasion, we sponsor nationally known speakers (by themselves or as part of a debate).
If you appreciate any of the activities sponsored by the Freethinkers of Colorado Springs and/or the Hiking Freethinkers: Monthly meetings, monthly Potluck Socials (including the biannual combination Potluck Social for Freethinkers, Skeptics and the Hiking Freethinkers), twice monthly hikes, etc., please consider giving a donation to the Freethinkers of Colorado Springs. Basic Membership is $30/year which includes a monthly newsletter. However, any amount is appreciated. Checks can be mailed to the "Freethinkers of Colorado Springs," P.O. Box 62946, Colorado Springs, CO 80962-2946. Donations can also be made online at www.freethinkerscs.com. "Make a Donation" is just below the calendar on the right side of the home page.
If you appreciate the work that the members of the board of directors do for the benefit of the Freethinkers of Colorado Springs and/or the Hiking Freethinkers, thank us by contributing to the Freethinkers of Colorado Springs.
Thank you for your generosity,
