Our meetup was created to support and promote humanism in the Greater Quad Cities.  Our group is for humanists, atheists, freethinkers, skeptics and others with a naturalistic worldview to find support for their commitment to reason in a culture too often inundated by religion and irrational thought.  We meet for fun, friendship, discussions, films and more.

There is no mandatory joining fee but a suggested yearly donation of $5.00 payable at any restaurant or home event is greatly appreciated to cover the cost of the meetup site and printed materials.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
