WashCo Walk/Coffee

We wait for people who have RSVPd so please cancel if you can't attend.

Take a walk in the park -- wear a T-shirt supporting science and reason (if you have one; available on Evolvefish.com or contact HGP.)

We walk with like-minded friends for ~50 minutes, then finish with coffee at a nearby cafe.

Arrive a few minutes early so we can make introductions, thenstart together shortly after 9:00 at our warm-up pace when we can pair up according to our walking rates.

All ages and abilities are welcome, as are little ones in strollers.

Contact the host for a cell number in case you can't find us; the walk may be cancelled or relocated due to inclement weather.

We look forward to seeing you -- tell a friend!

Oooh, just realized at this moment this walk is not in Washington Square. A much longer drive for me but a much more interesting venue! Hoping I make it on time -- if not I'll try to catch up on the walk. See you in a bit!

Pictures are amazing! Thanks so much for sharing. It was a great idea to photograph the big leaf on the bench, fantastic fall photos. You even caught some good ones of Mia who is a photo grump!

Great walk -- loved discovering that beautiful park! Had fun taking pictures after the walk. By the way, to view the pictures I loaded in a larger size, click the "view all sizes" link when you are looking at the photo and choose "original" for the largest size I posted to meetup. If you would like an even higher res copy of any picture, let me know and I can e-mail it directly.

Still trying to settle in where to do the coffee half. Was thinking Insomnia but wondering if there's anything closer. I can only think of the Starbucks on TV hwy near Cornelius Pass.
