The secular community is coming together to support the LGBT community with a booth at this year's PrideFest (http://www.glbtcolorado.org/pridefest/). The Secular Hub, the Humanists of Colorado, and the Freedom From Religion Foundation Denver Metro chapter have combined their efforts to have a booth at this year's Pride event. It is a chance for us to spread information about our welcoming community to another group of often disenfranchised people who have been persecuted by conservative religious beliefs.
We need your help to be the voice of the secular community and represent our inclusive groups. The is no way to underestimate the importance of having straight allies lend their support in this. We all had a great time at the People's Fair and this should be another wonderful weekend of hanging out with your secular friends and letting the broader community know that we are here and all we have to offer!
PrideFest is both Saturday and Sunday and the more people we have at the booth, the more fun it is! There will be cold water and snacks at our tent for volunteers. Note that there are a few hours of overlap with the PrideFest and the great Summer Solstice picnic, but we hope you'll come by before and/or after to lend your support!
Our booth assignment is C22 and you'll find us near the main auditorium on Colfax between Broadway and Bannock.
