Secular Hub Garage Sale

The Secular Hub will be hosting a garage sale in the side alley next to the Hub on September 7th from 9am until approximately 2pm.

If you have any extra clutter you want to clear out, treasures that have no more use to you, things your ex left behind, or that really tacky Christmas gift your great-aunt Ruth gave you...bring it on down to the Hub.  All proceeds from the garage sale will go to supporting your secular community center.

Volunteers are needed and welcome! Contact us in the comments or by e-mailing [masked].

You can bring items to the Hub from now up until the day of the garage sale!

A big "Thank You!" to all our members who donated items, shopped, showed up to help on tne day of the sale, and made this fundraiser a success! We cleared our clutter, made some new friends in the neighborhood, and raised some money to support the Hub! A great team effort!

Yeah, so what's the deal on how this is supposed to work. Are we doing specific price tags? Are we supposed to do that on our own before Sunday? Does the sale actually start at 9:00 or is that when we get organized? Is the Hub providing "change" (i.e. someone buys something for $4 and gives us a $5.00 bill -- where does the dollar come from) Who is in charge of this thing?

Thanks, Michael! You can drop off your donations at the Hub during any event between now and the morning of Sept. 7th. If you have any larger furniture items, it would be best to drop those off on the 7th. Be sure to let us know if you would like a receipt for a tax deduction.

Also, people need to be invited to come BUY stuff! One person's 'junk' can be another person's treasure.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
