I'm not grasping your point. My concern is the root of the issue: what exactly is the problem? Is there a rape culture? who is cause of the problem? should someone else be responsible for solving or preventing the problem? If yes, to what extent may we infringe on that someone else's freedoms to that end? Or am I even posing the best questions?

Sorry if I was rambling :)All very good questions. Is there only one root to the issue? there certainly is a rape culture for some people, but fortunately it is a relative rarity in our western society. It is crucial to keep this discussion open between parents and children, in the media, and in schools. Re who should be responsible? Are too many significant issues are left to the 'authorities' while the rest of us place our blind trust in them? How many of us are willing to invest the time and energy to participate in public discourse while sacrificing our own free time?

Hi Greg, soccer started a couple of weeks ago, so we can't come. Let's do something on a weekend with kids and get them discussing things. Why are animals in the zoo? Why should you sometimes go outside your comfort zone? why does all the music on advertising these days sound like it belongs in a yogurt commercial?

It's was a positive to have the mind stimulated by the ideas of such an eclectic group of thinkers. Energy for the brain that creates a natural high.

Hello everybody. Can't wait to see what the group is all about. I'm a rational-open minded person, who's finally woken up to the horrible mess of 'secret societies' and their agenda's. Which like most of the population' I would have called the people who talk about these things crackpots. But enter 9/11 and the RCMP doing 5000 residential raids on law-abiding citizens in Calgary 'during' a flood' to take their firearms, and the recent measles outbreak in Calgary where many parents of students at a high school where it was reported 5 kids broke out with measles, didn't want there children to receive the vaccine. I just moved to Calgary and I've never seen a city with so many citizens informed, and even the newspapers are always on it with 'can we trust our government articles insinuating ulterior motives. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I like the concept of debate versus argument. I ascribe to Nietzsche's statement: Belief is a greater enemy to the truth than lies.
