If we forget about the economics of this for just a second this is a truly ugly move. This seems to be a reflection of the government ideal to be honest.

I read this awhile ago and at first it just made me angry.
Then it made me cry.
It oddly enough breaks my heart.
For a group of people society would rather forget even exist as people.
Lets be ok to victimise their human rights
Because really what could they even do about it
So much for the freedom of religion.
Oh wait freedom is just an illusion.

Since the other religions are in the minority, it's hard to imagine that cost savings will be significant. This would logically point to other reasons for this decision.

Interesting though, that Christians are the largest proportion-particularly Catholics!
