Being skeptical, agnostic or even atheist, I am interested in hearing people's thoughts on the Bible. Is it simply an historical account of some things that may have happened or could it even be pure fallacy? Are there other explanations for what the Bible says? Look forward to people's ideas...

I understand the Bible was compiled, long after the fact, by the church from a whole bunch of documents. Of course, they chose the ones that more or less agreed with each other. Yet even these, there are logical or temporal inconsistencies. So we have a mishmash of historical documents, fables, myths and doctrine. Any surprises that you can support or contradict virtually anything using it? LOL!!!!!!!
