Computer Security Warriors is a group that is dedicated to educating our community in computer safety.  The advent of the Internet and our new found ability to tap the entire world for practically any information has also brought with it profound invisible risk.  The potential of exposing our most personal information is only a few keyboard and mouse clicks away.

The enemy is truly at the gate, or actually lurking behind every firewall/router connected to the Internet waiting for an opportunity to infiltrate our systems.  It is essential to understand how these cyber criminals gain access and learn how to take measures to protect our personal and sensitive information.

Our purpose is to collaborate and train our members on the various aspects of computer and Internet security including how to surf the web with safety being conscience of the potential threats and how to recognize and avert attacks.

Topics include:  Password management strategies, DNS Content filters & Proxies, Anti-virus and Spyware detection and removal, Backup and Restore utilities, Email venerability and spam.  Each month we will collaborate and bring to light full understanding on these topics.
