Monthly Potluck

The most popular date resulting from the Doodle online scheduling facility is Sunday, Dec 16. This is instead of this Staurday. We can do this one at my house even though my wife is working that day. Note the 2 PM starting time.

Let's talk over the Ray event and decide where we want to go from here. Please sign up if you are coming... I will grill tri tip steak and veggie burgers to supplement whatever everyone else brings.

Great time! Nice to spend time with other thinking beings.

18 attended. Covered wide range of issues, made future plans, and had one heck of a good time.

You'll be missed - if you feel up to it tomorrow and want to change your mind at the last minute, c'mon over without notice.

    Hi Ron,
I think I just RSVP'd that I would attend...but I am not cleared to drive (or do stairs) yet so....what can I say, I hit the wrong button, should be a will not attend. Hope to see you all in Jan.

I'll bring something for dessert. likely a variety of cookies, small pecan tarts, etc.

I'm bringing a tomato aspic salad to eat, and a guest to meet.

Is this a pot luck? If so, what can I bring?

Sounds great. Unless something like a wedding ceremony interferes, we'll be there. Phyllis wants it to be a "festivus" party. I'm just content to have a get-together and camaraderie, whatever we want to call it. We'll try to bring something nice to add to the festivities. Barbara and Ron get well so you can join in.

Yes to having this as a solstice party, which some of us honor rather than Christmas. Ron and I have had a "bug" and now getting over it, but not ready to host a group on Saturday.

I hope a location will turn up. We need to get our organization formalized, legally established as a bona fide non-profit group, etc. We've been at this over a year now and already have a bit of clout.

Hey gang, how's about someone hosting a "Christless" Party a few days before or after the 25th? I suggest we revel about the election and how god is taking a political beating. Let's talk about our next get together at the Ray reception.

Don't mind a party, but can we call it a solstice party?
That's really all Christmas is. I'm not all that enthusiastic about anything with "christ" in it anymore.

Oh, premature comment. I didn't notice the "less." Please disregard.
