Bring Your Own Craft - Open Studio

Beginners, experts, somewhere in between – everyone is welcome!

There is No Charge for today's meeting.

The point of this meetup is for crafters to get together and set aside a specific time during the week to work on their crafts. Life is busy and we don't always remember to make time for ourselves. Let this be your time. Use these open studios to work on your projects away from your daily distractions. Make new friends and learn new skills while you're at it.

What are we doing?

Today will be an Open Studio for crafting. Bring along your own crafting materials and use this time to work on your project, meet new crafty friends, and trade crafting tips.

You can bring any portable craft you're working on;
jewelry, beading, crochet, knitting, drawing, painting, scrapbooking, hand quilting, origami, hand sewing, rubber stamping, macrame, etc.

This is an Open Studio - so show up when you can and stay as long as you like.

What to Bring
Bring a project of your own to work on.
Bring your own materials and tools.

If you will be doing a craft that is messy
please bring something to clean up any spills.
A sense of humor and desire for fun are also a plus.

Where are we meeting?

We'll be meeting in the Public Meeting Room A

M. Allan Vogelson Regional Branch Library
Camden County Library Branch
203 Laurel Road
Voorhees, NJ 08043

The library is located across the street from the Voorhees Town Center, formerly the Echelon Mall.

There are tables and chairs provided in the meeting room.

I think there are outlets in the rooms at the library. If so, then yes, you can bring a machine.

Hi my name is Angie. I do all crafts but mainly knitting in the last 4 years. Have a first grandchild that I want to knit for and also would like to meet some crafty ladies to see if you have any ideas for a park wedding table ceterpiece. My daughter gets married June 14th and am racking my brain. Happy to meet everyone May 17
