I enjoy meeting other automation oriented people in the tech industry. I currently work for Mozilla as a QA lead on several web properties.
Python mixed with pytest and webdriver.

Hi Matt, Look forward to meet you at our Jan 28th event! Warmest and have a great rest of the week! Jane
Yeah. Having a 12 month old might ALSO have something to do with it. :)
Well, that's just it. There's nothing WRONG with those groups, but I'm hoping for something different... Where we can get together and talk / show off about something we're working on and have someone go "Wow, that's cool! / can I help with the artwork or need help with the parser? I've written several, etc." and then to have a place where we can work together, learn from each other, etc. would be awesome!
I guess that should have said "with less emphasis on hardware but JUST ENOUGH to satisfy my animatronic needs" ;) ;)
Hi Matt,
I totally agree. I found another local group that seems to be more hardware hacking/modding
oriented but I'm really hoping to focus this one more on software development and tinkering with a little less emphasis on hardware (to satisfy my animatronic needs. LOL). Denver is often perceived as being a "tech void". Perhaps we can change that perception, one person at a time? ;)
Have fun at I/O. We'll catch up soon!
I'm interested in learning more about some of the new things google is doing here in Colorado. What types of projects do they have that engage the Denver/Boulder community? It would be cool to see them have a "Google" Day and do more open house type networking events to bring new ideas from people in the community into some of their projects.
HI Matt,
I'd join you in creating a Meet Up in Boulder for an SEO gathering as I'm having to drive to Denver for these groups - something more local would help. Do we need a place to have it? I have a clubhouse we could use but only til 6pm and I'm in Longmont. Tcha
