Self-Discipline Introductory Meeting

  • May 12, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This meeting will teach you the basic concepts behind self-discipline, where I'll share my knowledge and answer your questions.

Topics covered will include:

• How Self-Discipline Is Strengthened
• Control Your Mind to Control Your Behavior
• The Different Types of Self-Discipline Challenges
• The Secret to Superior Self-Discipline
• The Phases of Mastery

This meeting will also serve as an introduction to a six week self-discipline training program (see the details below).

This meeting is totally free. The course will be $100.

If you just want to learn something about self-discipline, then please come, learn something, and apply it to your life!

If you are interested in taking the course, come and find out more about it and see if this is something that you want to do.

Self- Discipline Course Details:

This training program consists of six weekly modules designed to develop your self-discipline through a system of progressive exercises. Each module features a new set of concepts, specific exercises that put those concepts into practice, and techniques based on those concepts that help make the exercises easier and that you can also use in your daily life.

Instead of just teaching you some interesting theories, and some helpful techniques that have only short term benefits applied to specific situations, I want you to internalize some essential self-discipline concepts that will build your self-discipline powerfully, permanently, and across the board. This is accomplished by initially learning the concepts at our weekly meetings, then practicing them through specifically designed exercises with the aid of a few supportive techniques.

The program starts off simple, but as the program progresses, so do the exercises - they become increasing more difficult. However, each week was designed to build off the previous one, so you'll be more than ready to tackle the next module's exercises. What may seem challenging today, will actually be easy in the future.

As you go through the course, you'll start to feel a kind of inner power - self-discipline - that will continue to grow and spill over into every aspect of your life. And by the end you'll feel like you are in total control your life, and able to do whatever you set your mind to.

While this course was created to build your overall sense of self-discipline, if there is a specific challenge that you have been struggling with and want to focus on (like quitting smoking, beating procrastination, or getting into shape), after you've completed the course, you'll actually have the ability to do it.

FYI, for those of you driving in, if you want to avoid driving around for 30 minutes in a frustrating search for a parking spot, there is usually space on Chestnut Street around 23rd/24th by the bridge. See you all tonight!
