Show & Tell & Hack: Our Hacked R/C Car

  • Jan 29, 2014 · 6:30 PM

Topic: Show & Tell & Hack: Our Hacked R/C Car

Summary: Over the last few weeks, we've been building a hacked R/C car like Jason did. At this meetup, we'll go through a step-by-step of how we made the car and what you need to assemble the car yourself.

We're using a camera on a RPi to control the car. The car is programmed with Node.js & Python which will be released during our meetup.

6:30pm – Hang-out, drinks, and food.
7:15pm - Start meetup with "Where have we been?"
7:30pm - Praful Mathur - How to hack an R/C car and actuate with Arduino
7:45pm - Shawn Chen - How to process video on Raspberry Pi and control Arduino
8:00pm - Present a hack you're working on.
8:30pm - Spend time hacking our car or working on your own hack.

Pizza and refreshments will be served!

Finding the office:
The office is on the fourth floor and when you get out of the elevator or stairs, take a right and it's the office at the end of the hallway.
