A scattering of topics and freewheeling conversation.

It would be great to meet with you over a cup or a plate and share ideas .... bring you ... this Saturday!

We're meeting at Kopi Cafe in Andersonville.  Directions below.

Finding us: Kopi can be busy on Saturday, If you can't find us straight away, ask staff, or ring me on the Google Voice number I've set up:[masked]  it will 'automagically' transcribe your voice mail and text it to my mobile, or, of course forward on your text.

Use it for last-minute RSVPs and cancellations, too.  My geek side in action, LOL.

$1 from you helps me cover charges.

Directions to Kopi:

Clark St bus: get off at Berwyn, walk 3/4 block north, east side if street.

Red Line: Berwyn, exit station left, walk 4 blocks west on Berwyn to Clark, then right 3/4 block north, east side of Clark.

Driving: free parking on Ashland Ave., 1/4 block west of Clark

Oh yeah, my answers to those big questions:

I'm me.  I've got opinions.  I'm well-travelled, well informed, bilingual and have some thrill-seeking genes too. I'm normal, I'm different.  You are too.  Let's bring all that to the table

What is god?
Good question!  Probably not what society say he or she is.  And, counterquestion, what is spirit?  Are they connected.

What is death?
Lights out. No need to worry about becoming a cow next time ...

What is sex?
1 What makes the world go 'round, even though we don't want to admit it. 2) The single biggest piece of western society's shadow. 3) An integral part of who we are. 4) How we got here. 5) what we know least about ourselves. 6) Fun!  All taken in any order you want.

What is religion?
Whatever you want it to be.  Quoting the Dali Lama: "pick one"

What is love?
Still figuring it out, still learning.
