After a first successful edition in Brussels, it's time for the rest of the Benelux. Amsterdam is up next!
The informal talks and short speeches we had in Brussels were more fertile than we ever could have imagined. Seen how lively Semantic Technology is in the Netherlands, we expect this meetup to be even more promising...
We want to bring together everyone interested in Semantic Technology as creators and/or users - to stimulate new developments. The focus is on bridging academic research to business applications, as we strongly believe this is the way to push Semantic Web technology up the Gartner curve.
Anyone wishing to present a topic whether it be projects or technologies - can reserve the floor for a slot of 10 minutes.
After every topic we reserve some time for vivid discussions and bright feedback. The goal is to exchange thoughts in an informal atmosphere.
Sample topics can include
Semantic Technology Business Applications
Semantic Web Services
Linked Data for Business
Open Data for Government
Data Integration using RDF
Content Management using SKOS
All this will be in an informal and relaxed atmosphere, there'll tidbits and fresh Belgian beers. No need to bring anything but your fresh open minded spirit.
