Currently I'm working in the CUBIST FP7 project: a business intelligence and visualization platform that is built on top of a semantic web triple store as well as having natural language processing and information extraction components. I'm dealing with telemetry data from the International Space Station and modelling domain ontologies for it. Previously I have developed cross-domain cultural recommendation systems using semantic web technologies. Having worked with OWLIM, GATE, Sesame, Jena and AllegroGraph, I've had my fair share of RDF, OWL, SPARQL, as well Java, Scala, Python, and Lisp. I think I can safely say I 'know quite something about it', or 'an expert'.
Knowledge modelling, building ontologies, semantic ETL (Extract Transform Load) tools and techniques, etc.
Hello, as a software engineer, developer & researcher who is very much involved with Semantic Web professionally, I'd like to participate in this group.
