We finally have a venue and agenda for our next meet up this Wednesday, June 24, from 6:30-8:30 pm.
Sorry for the short notice, but logistics had to be last minute due to the conference.
At SemTech 2009, there was not enough presence of the business community with their case studies and business problems to be solved by semantic technology. There were tool providers, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and consultants, but no real clients. Two things we'd like to cover at this month's meetup is an informal report of the conference from those who attended and a proposition to bring the local business and semantic technology communities together in partnerships that will be profitable for all. I hope you can make it!
- Informal presentations of impressions and take-aways from anyone who attended SemTech 2009, including the Meetup of Meetups (SemTech 2009 attendees)
- Formal location and sponsorship of this meetup group (Robert Krause)
- Additional topics and/or ideas about what this meetup can provide the community (all members)
