This location is shown only to members
We will car pool for the 30-mile scenic drive to Oakhill on the Intercoastal Waterway. At Seminole Rest, part of the Canaveral National Seashore, we will visit an ancient Native American Mound created by the Timucuan Indians. There will be a 2-hour ranger-guided tour of this scenic park and the restored Snyder residence.
Close by is Riverbreeze Park with it’s wonderful pier and park that juts out into the river. Many birds inhabit this park with many more who call the Intercoastal Waterway their home. Seminole Rest and Riverbreeze have bathrooms and picnic tables.
