Christmas Bird Count - Econlockhatchee CBC

  • Dec 21, 2013 · 7:00 AM

The 114th Annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count will take place this December. It is the longest running Citizen Science Survey in the world, and provides critical data on bird population trends. Why not make a contribution to conservation this holiday season by spending time counting birds? You can participate by joining a team in the field, or, if you live within one of the count circles, you can watch the feeders in your yard

There are two local Christmas Bird Counts (CBC). We hope you will volunteer to assist with these important surveys. Wekiva CBC – Sat. Dec. 14.  Econlockhatchee CBC - Sat. Dec. 21.  For more information and to volunteer to assist with the Wekiva Bird Count email Jay Exum at [masked]   For the Econ Bird Count email Lorne Malo at [masked]
