PLEASE BEWARE HE IS NOT A MEMBER.
After replying to one of the group emails recently, I rec'd an email from "Ronald Bart" indicating he'd like to get to know me better. The email raised some suspicions as there were a few grammatical errors, so I looked him up on Facebook. According to that, he is "self-employed" and lives in Texas, with no ties mentioned to this area. The only photos of his "friends" on FB were all women 50+. He had only one photo (the same one) of himself. The profile is now looking very much like the classic "fake" profiles that often go up on dating sites, which in reality are linked to someone in Nigeria or wherever, trolling for a gullible "rich" American. No idea if that's the case here, but it raised my suspicions so I blocked him. Just thought you should know. I don't know how sophisticated Senior Mingle's site is about flagging scam artists who apply as members. Thanks,
Hi, I'm new to Meet-up & have just started coming to meetups. So far I have enjoyed movie out / La tea-da/ Revelry/ & breakfast-public market. Looking forward to making more friends.
Here's my ?- I received a message from Ronald Bart. He viewed my profile & wanted to get to know me better. I let him know about the events this week that I was attending but he is out of town. He seems nice enough. BUT I can't find him on the member list.
RED FLAGS!!! Do you know of him? Please advise. Thanks Deb
