Summer Hikes are Back - Shiloh Regional Park

Not for beginners -

Wanted to change up the hike a bit.  Let's do Shiloh tonight instead of Foothill.

And then in two weeks, lets switch it to Taylor Mtn.

My first time to Shiloh and I was very impressed. I loved the Creekside trail and the Big Leaf trail and the hills weren't bad at all. I hope we can do this one again. Maybe at 6:00 next time?

What a gorgeous park. The hikers were friendly, the weather was perfect, and the late-day sunlight was beautiful.

It's difficult to describe a hike especially as to it's difficulty. Everyone has their own definition of that. and everyone has to decide on their own if they will be able to do it. Below is a link for the Sonoma County Parks with their descriptions. You can then check each park to see what the county describes it to be. And again, this hike is noted for not being for beginners. Please decide accordingly if you will be going or not.

Sounds interesting as it is close to me in Calistoga. More info would be helpful- I walk a lot but, due to arthritis, have trouble seeing my feet on really uneven ground and on downhills. Would it be possible to do part of this hike?
