Opening Day at the Fair and FREE FOR SENIORS

Since it's free for Senior Day - lets walk around the Fairgrounds - eat the yummy fair food, people watch, animal watch....listen to music and just enjoy the evening and each other.

Let's meet just inside Gate 5 on Brookwood side (see map here:

Did I mention it's FREE for seniors! - Suggest carpooling as there will a parking fee - BevMo would be a good carpool spot.

My knees demanded I speed the strolling pace. Loved the Enchanted Forest garden; visited the cows; and found the Tiny Houses. Could only find you all once more -- but left by 8. Before that it was great to be with group. Beautiful evening.

Well, considering we were there on our feet for about 2 1/2 hours, it must have been a good workout - I know I was tired and my legs and feet hurt

I am super-beat after field trip with my autistic kids so I will NOT be at the fair I think unless I get energized. Deb

Is there any interest for those who might not go in the evening, of going during the day? I'm not sure the 6:15 will be a good time for me.
