Hinebaugh Creek

NOTE: The address given is ONLY for mapping purposes.

This is a rather fun and lovely trail that takes us along Hinebaugh Creek in Rohnert Park. We pass by residential areas as well as parks and if we take the "lower" trail it takes us right along the creek. This was a well liked hike last year. If I recall correctly it is around 4 miles round trip.

Dogs on "short" leashes are welcome.

As always we start at the time posted.

Not going to make it. Selling house and cat brought a bird in with feathers everywhere. Bird will survive. But I have to clean up.

I would be interested in a regular hike in the Rohnert Park area - not to early, not too late, but juusst right :-)
Had to cancel on todays hike - feel like a cold may be coming on.

You know, I scoped it out last weekend and I'm in love with the place. I took the lower trail and then up and it was sooo beautiful! Just don't know if I"m in the shape to do that butt hike you all talk about on Thursdays and other days up Taylor Mountain....

peggy - we aren't fast but if you walked part of it already, you could probably walk with us. Our goal is to get faster and go farther...

I see there are a few comments by people in the Cotati/Rohnert Park area who perhaps would be interested in setting up a regular hike out at Crane Creek Regional. Would anybody like to do that perhaps earlier than 5:45, like 3:30, 4:00 before it gets too hot for that? Lemme know!

Peggy, great idea - but I still work - plus, that is the only park that I always come out of with ticks - so I don't go there anymore.

I just found out I am going to have to work. If you google "Elvera & Evonne Ave., Rohnert Park, CA, us" This is near the north entrance to the park/school. The creek is to the east.
