Sensored Meetup #14

Sensored #14 will be back at Lemnos Labs' sweet new space in the Dogpatch on Monday, March 24.

This meetup will be in the classic format -- 5-minute tech talks, snacks and drinks, and, most importantly, lots of time to meet everyone.

As usual, we'll have drinks and networking at 7, and at 7:30 we'll kick off the event with 5 sweet tech talks by Helen Lurie, Tim Thompson, Eduardo Torrealba, Marcus Rosenthal, and Rich DDT.

Join us remotely!

Revolve Robotics is setting up a KUBI, for our telepresence guests.  Join via any device, here:

Sponsor & MakeCon

This month's Sensored is sponsored by Make, which is running MakeCon on May 13 & 14:

MakerCon is a conference by and for makers. MakerCon will provide valuable, practical insights into the impact of the maker movement on community, technology, and business.

A special 50% discount is being offered to the Sensored Meetup group. Register here

Pitch Your Prototype: MakerCon is looking for early stage products, projects, and ideas to feature in the Pitch Your Prototype competition.

Selected prototypes will be presented at the opening session of MakerCon and featured in the Innovation Showcase. Each winning entrant will have five minutes to present their idea and a prototype: a 2-minute pitch, then a 3-minute demonstration of the prototype.  The winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000, and a slot on the Innovation Stage to present the prototype at Maker Faire. Enter the Pitch Your Prototype contest here.

We now have a calendar for all sorts of Sensored events:  Let me know if you've got something to add!

The meetup form did not except my reservation, I am blind and use a screen reader which did not access the code on the web form. I'm yet hoping that I and my two assistants may attend as I am here from Hawaii? I would hate to miss this meet up as this technology is badly needed for my Accessibility applications I am developing.
