The best service experience I've had was at the W resort in Vieques. They took care of every need as soon as I landed. They have a lounge in the airport, with fresh island juices and information about the island. Then they escorted us via Jeep to the resort from the lounge and gave us a tour of the island during the drive. When I arrived they quickly checked us in using my W passbook app. Someone took our bags to the room while they gave us a tour of the resort and the location of the amenities. While there they provide plenty of free equipment to enjoy the island. Each channel worked well together and they knew how to get us quickly from travel mode into vacation mode.
Making sure channels and actors work together is complex, but when it works it feels like magic. Being able to plan and create tools for people which enables them to create and enjoy a magical experience is fascinating. Who wouldn't find that interesting?
