SOME BASIC GROUP GUIDELINES
Not all the events will be free, but all fees will be at cost. We do not require membership fees, but we do accept cash donations at the FREE events. A donation jar is available at sign-in. These donations are used to pay for organizational maintenance fees. Please be as generous as you can.
Please note that basic etiquette is expected of our members here. If a member has RSVP'd for an event, then the member should show up. However, we understand that life happens, so please cancel at least three days in advance.
A FREE event requires time from hosts to organize. Members who habitually fail to show up after an RSVP will eventually be placed on the waiting list for future Meetups. We take roll, and last-minute cancellations are considered "no shows." Our goal is to choose venues for sewing days located in the south bay at public spaces where there is easy access free parking so everyone can participate easily.
New folks wishing to join will need to use their real name and a reasonably clear photo of yourself, this to make it a little more difficult for spammers to access the group.
