Last night, 3 peace-minded women officially came to the Shalom Salaam, Toronto event that I organized, called Canadian Art for Peace. As well, I happened to bump into a lovely woman from Turkey whom I had met me at a talk given by a Rabbi (one of the founders of Rabbis for Human Rights in Israel) at a United Church breakfast a few Sunday mornings ago. She had brought two Turkish university students to the Art Gallery of Ontario last night to watch a documentary about Aboriginal Canadians. But she spontaneously decided to bring them instead to hear the Shalom Salaam talk on art, given by the fine Canadian/Israeli artist, Nomi Drory. Nomi compared and contrasted with great erudition two early Canadian artists: Krieghoff and Gagnon. Everyone enjoyed the talk and thought that they should return to explore the gallery. Here is one of the beautiful paintings that Nomi spoke about. http://www.ago.net/agoid76673

What is the activity/event and where is it? I use public transport and need to work out routes to get to the venue, wherever it is. Thanks.
