Grandmother Circle

Grandmother Circle

facilitated by Claire Rainbow.

The Grandmothers are our ancestors, they are the ancestors of all of us. They hold great wisdom:

Star Nation sits in the North and she understands the soul purpose, ancestry, global energy
Moon sits in the South and she has child-like qualities, the inner child, renewal, waxing and waning energies.
Sun sits in the East and she is creating strength, illuminating problems, she is about initiation, Energy, creative bursts
Earth sits in the West and she is nurturing; she is about the physical body, grounding energy, nurturing seeds
Shaman sits in the South-West and can be difficult for us to understand. She deals with the ethereal, the Journey
Mid-wife sits in the South-East and can help with the birthing of projects, child care etc
Death sits in the NorthWest and she helps us with letting go, endings, changes
Priestess sits in the North-East and knows about medicine, animal totems and physical healing

As the drum beats we focus on a question to that Grandmother and keep asking the question Grandmother where are you. Once you meet with the Grandmother, you can ask her a question. So you should consider your question and which Grandmother is best to answer it before you come.

What to bring: you may like a cushion to sit on, an open heart, an honest mind, you may wish to bring refreshments to share. Also, a donation to cover venue costs would be appreciated.

Unfortunately we need at least 3 people to have a Circle and there were only 2 of us yesterday.

Hi folks - just been invited by the lovely Melissa Muirhead. I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to make the next Meetup, but will try my best to be there.

    Blessings

You may also like to bring some paper and a pen to write your experiences on. Most people find this an enjoyable experience and most people can Journey with no previous experience. Bring your imagination too :-)
