In this class we will explore Shamanic Journeying Techniques, including theory and uses. We will start off  by introducing fundamentals and uses to new journeyers. New material will be helpful to more experienced journeyers and an opportunity for them to share some of their experiences, to help support the introductory class and their own practice.

The shamanic journey has been used for millenia by shamans of different traditions to access the worlds of myth and archetypes, as a way to access healing powers from nature and gain wisdom and knowledge from sources deep within themselves and their tribe members. In this class we will discover the use of sonic drives to access through mental portals into the shamanic realms.

In all cultures, whether the shamanic practitioner enters the spirit realms through drumming, rattling, trance dancing, singing or through the uses of plant spirit teachers, the shamanic realms all function within the same paradigm. To understand this paradigm gives greater clarity to the potential that we all carry within ourselves to make life choices and bring greater self empowerment to our physical, emotional and mental well being. We do not walk this life path alone but are deeply supported by the unseen realms.

Having studied from teachers of many shamanic and energy healing traditions, Alan is an accomplished and respected healer and will include insights from his years of training and practice. He recently returned from a 2 month intensive training period with his teachers in Peru. See his web site for bio and other info.
