When 10:00-4:00 pm
Powerhouse Education welcomes Peruvian healer & ceremonialist Mateo Magee for a day of soul work. (Mateo is the author of Peruvian Shamanism - The Pachakuti Mesa Tradition)
You may meet Mateo Wed, July 16 for a despacho ceremony:
Taking time to sit and connect more deeply with the subtle, is often the first thing that is forfeited when life becomes busy and time becomes scarce. In these moments it is easy to forget how essential it is to pause in the stillness and beauty of ritual and ceremony. This is an invitation to invest in the medicine of the subtle and the unseen. It is also an opportunity to revisit the gift of what is being offered through your human life, to breathe it in through ritual, and to let it fuel what is emerging in this moment of your life. Specific focus will also be given to the process of personal healing.
The teachings of this weekend intensive will be passed on through both didactic and experiential teachings in the Huachuma lineage of Peruvian Shamanism. These ceremonial teachings (known as the limpia, suspendida, and florecimiento), are designed to lovingly tend to the fire of your spiritual life through the process of releasing what no longer serves your path and embracing what is emerging within you in the moment. What To Bring:
An open heart, a silent mind.
A willingness to release what is no longer serving your soul on the spiritual path.
A willingness to investigate what is being born within you in this moment of your life.
Cushion or low seating chair if you have one.
Some food for lunch.
A water bottle. A pen, and notebook.
And a sacred item, or medicine piece, for the group altar.
