Hi! I am me and focusing on love and connection with the Spirits. I am a certified shamanic practitioner and did my training in Ireland. I am also a depth psychotherapist.
I found the training I did very healing and powerful. I want to find a group of people to do journey and nature work with.
The training in ireland was 5 weekends plus a full week. I also am part of an earth medicine group here and attend about once every other month.
Well of course I'm going to say that I take responsibility for myself. Who wouldn't say that? I try to always take responsibility and yet I am human. When I am telling myself that I've been wronged or attacked or belittled I struggle with projection and think my feelings are "justified" which is a tricky sibling of "someone else's fault". So it's lifelong work.
I believe that we go on in some way. I think about this question a lot. Sometimes I think we just go into the sea of consciousness and are pure energy with no sense of people or places except as energy would experience people or places. Other times I think we maintain our own consciousness but are still part of that one sea. I know we go on though. The body is just the glass our consciousness has been poured into.
I hope you can make it to one of our upcoming meetings. I think that a shamanistic approach to working with the lake is always appreciated in our group.
Greetings Kathy, and welcome to the circle and the journey. Ireland the land of St. Brigit , who is honored in both Vodun and Yoruba African Spiritual paths we are already kindred spirits as I call her Mama Oya. :) In Yoruba mythology it is Oya who comes to collect our last breath and guides us to the land of the Ancestors.
my sister said you are a fine fisherman, my brother said Im pretty good with the river, but I need 3 more years before I think like a fish. we sat on the bank, and the river went by.
Hello, Kathy, I'm still confused about how messaging works here. Some email, some posting, some messages show up in places with no connection to original contact. . . Anyway, this group sounds interesting, and I look forward to seeing how it comes to life.
All the best.
let's stay awake
and listen to the dark.
before the birds,
before they all wake up.
It's the ending of a day
and soon begins another.
hear the leaves
applaud the wind.
see the sun come rising
and white-wings start
like strings of pearls
in the fiery sky.
your eyes, don't leave the night now,
as the leaves applaud
so pah/ welcome to the feeling arranger /primitive shamanism meet up. I hope you will come to our first meet up on the 9th of march, honey stutter bird and fool knock stone. so we can all get to know each other.
