In this month's meetup, we'll explore the creation of sound with physical intent with a special guest, Daniel Brower, who is the founder and director of Circle of Sound and Círculo de Sonido, the only world-wide groups of crystal bowl players uniting in concentration and sacred sounds regularly to elevate the consciousness of humanity. These dedicated players of the crystal bowls have been meeting every Equinox and Solstice in a Global Harmonization Ceremony since September of 2005, and are now found in 37 countries and in more than 150 locations around the planet. He has traveled extensively across the world over the last nine years to promote Circle of Sound and the Global Harmonization Ceremony.

Most of the last 15 years Daniel has been playing the crystal singing bowls, which are instrumental in opening our crown chakra antenna to receive more of the cosmic consciousness. This is the Source of Divine Wisdom, Light and Love. He shares the sounds of the crystal bowls wherever there is interest and open ears, minds and heart. He says that he continues to learn more about how these amazing and powerful crystal sounds can be effective in helping us to return to Health and Balance. There seems to be no end to what the bowls can teach us. Daniel is presently based in Houston, Texas, and will be sharing these beautiful sounds with us. He is inspired to meet and gather together all those who feel a connection with the crystal sounds.

There's two core questions we'll feel into:

- when listening to sound, where does the physical body sense it?  How does it feel?  Can I direct the sensation?  Do different sounds manifest different effects?  What does this tell me about my body?

- when making sound with my voice or with an instrument, where does it resonate?  Where does it not resonate?  How can I use sound to unblock, loosen up, protect, open, or change  my being?

This event is open to the public, and admission is free, with donations welcome.  The core process will be freeform and interactive for those who wish to sound, so feel free to bring instruments such as voice, drums, rattles, bowls, etc for experimentation.  Bring blankets or cushions for sitting or lying if you're so inclined; chairs and backjacks are provided.
