Heart of Recovery

Step 11.  Come join us explore this pivotal step on our path as meditators in recovery.

This meditation and discussion group brings together Shambhala Buddhist meditation practice with the Twelve Steps recovery programs.  Meetings are anonymous and confidential and explore the relationship of addictions and recovery to our personal paths as warriors, bodhisattvas, and meditation practitioners. Open to all Buddhist practitioners, 12 Step practitioners, and individuals interested in exploring the relationship of meditation to recovery from addiction and addictive behaviors.

Meeting format is generally as follows:

Initial meditation instruction followed by a period of sitting meditation.  Then a book study format meeting and discussion. Concluding with another short period of meditation.

We welcome all who our interested.
