Do you have a lens that you don't use so often? a 50mm? a wide? a 600 mm zoom? Did you just get a new lens that you haven't had the chance to shoot with and see what it can do? Do you have a camera and have not figured out how it works beyond the auto mode? Do you have a camera?
If the answer to at least one of those questions is a resounding "YES," then come enjoy a (forecasted) sunny Sunday with like-minded people.
The goal here is to make sure you are more comfortable with the equipment that you already have. Hopefully you youself can answer the question: "why did I buy this gear in the first place?" by the end of the day. Or if that didn't do it, then at least maybe you can come out of it with some interesting stuff purchased from the antique market.
HOW TO GET THERE: Just in case anybody is wondering the whereabouts of the antique market. You can hop on a taxi and ask for Dongtai Gudong Shichang (东台古董市场). Alternatively, you can also use the metro and get off at Laoximen station. Take exit 1 and keep right, heading north along South Xizang road. When you hit Fangbang Road, cross the street and continue along South Xizang road. You know you have arrived when you see a big red gate to your left. If anyone is familiar with the bird & insect market, it's across from there.
We can also meet up at Exit 1 Laoximen station at 1. My number is[masked] in case you are lost.
Looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday!
