Thanks Lumi and David for this fun and interesting moment. I would definitely like to learn more about flash photography now. A whole new world of experience.
Dale> you mentioned a matrix with all the lighting styles and their names. Would you mind sharing?

Here is an article - the examples are not the best, but just search for images with the lighting style you would like to see and you will find better examples - http://digital-photog... - another example with lighting diagrams - http://www.sekonic.co...

Great example Dale. I think this calls for another Strobists' meetup to practice different style of lighting. ;)

    Dale, Jacob, Taweili,

Can you let the models know that I would be willing to share high resolution images if they would like a copy for their files or portfolios? If they are interested in additional modeling work, I interested in talking to them regarding future shoots. Paul ([masked])

We need to update the address, it's 1398 NOT 1389.
Go Jiangsu Lu/Wuding Lu and in Wuding Lu at that big green buildings (1398) turn left. Go to the next corner and turn left...
There will be a big Phottix banner on Wuding Lu, just find it and talk to the guys.

So here's a question for you: To what extend will there be equipment available for practising the workshop skills?

    May 29, 2013

    • taweili

The talk will be about 30 minutes and we will have 2 and a half hours to practice. We will have 4 setups so everyone should be able to try every one of the setups.
