So you've heard about this 3D Printing craze, and maybe even tried 3D printing yourself, but you have questions that need to be answered.
"What is a Solid model, and how do I make one?"
"What is the best software to model in?"
"What material options are available?"
"Should I buy a 3D printer or use a print service?"
Bring your questions to this meetup, and designer Marcus Ritland (that's me) will answer them.
I'll also have lots of sample 3D printed parts so you can get hands on with them, which is the best way to learn about the materials. In case you've been to a previous meetup, I have some new models to show this time!
The location is same as our previous Shapeways Meetups: The Mill, 2300 Kennedy Street NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413. Look for the green building at the end of the building complex at 2300 Kennedy St NE.
