Joel Oleson - Your Yammer Enterprise Social Journey

So much to think about. In this session Joel will help us to break it down. SharePoint 2013, Yammer and Office 365 product families bring new capabilities for content sharing, finding, organizing, and authoring. They also create new challenges. The move to the cloud and the integration of SharePoint and Yammer—the enterprise social network—have made this release very profound and disruptive to the business. In this session, we'll dig into planning and strategy for social architectures around both business process and the technologies to help ensure compliance and success. Social enterprise technology is transformative and will lead to more agile business when used correctly but disaster and chaos when not used properly.

Very informative. As suggested, I signed up for SPyam, but so far it's been a ...er... sham. Perhaps they've taken Friday off.

Very interesting presentations on Search and Enterprise Social. It was good to see familiar faces and get in a few chats. Happy that Joel Oleson could add Ottawa to his travel itinerary. It was a full house at Patty Boland's with great service and food. Thanks, Randy and Nick for organizing this!

Awesome meetup! When Joel talked about senior executives using social rather than email so that everyone in the org hears their thoughts first hand a big light bulb went on for me. Bonus speaker Ben is fantastic too, I love his blog. Thank you so much to Randy and Nick for the event.

Hello John. Yes you are right in that we usually hold this at an earlier time. It is later this time as Joel is coming in from out of town, and due to just having a limited window of opportunity we are holding it later for this meeting to accommodate him. Hopefully you can make it. All the best.

Hi Randy and Nick, just wanted to double check the start time for this event. In the past this meeting has been 5pm-ish. I'm not sure if I can attend at 6:30pm.
