Join us as we shoot the night skies at Lassen National Park.
Please, meet at the "Park and Ride" lot at 3:45-4:00pm in Shingletown. The parking lot is next to Shingle Shack Restaurant, catty-corner from the Library. You can either drive by yourself or carpool to Lassen Park.
We had a inspiring presentation on photographing the stars by Hung Vu at our January meeting. He will be attending this outing.
It's recommended you dress warm and layer your clothing. It's gets very cold after the sun goes down. There could be snow on the trail, so wear good sturdy shoes. Bring some power bars or snacks, headlamp, flashlight, and if you have a "red" covered flashlight also.
This outing is depending on the weather conditions. If we have rain or snow, we have to cancel and reschedule at a later date. Let's hope for clear skies.
See you there!
