7th Annual Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk-Shingletown

Join us for the first ever Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk in Shingletown. My belief is a great photograph can be taken anywhere, even in your own backyard! If your new to Kelby's Photo Walk, it's a gathering of photographers from around the world who learn, share and enjoy photography on this one day. It's a charitable event as well as a fun day to meet fellow photo enthusiasts. There are prizes awarded, but it isn't necessary for you to enter the competition.

If wish to participate you need to register here:

You can find this walk and details here at:

Looking forward to seeing you.

Angel and I enjoyed the time we spent there. Unfortunately my hip started acting up again so I couldn't stay the whole time.

This sounds interesting and it's only a hop, skip & jump away from Redding. You say it's a charitable event. Which charity and what is the cost? Thanks.

Hi Carolyn, thank you for your question. The walk is free. Here is a description from the Kelby website "It’s completely free to participate in the walk, but this year we’re “Walking with a Purpose” by encouraging all participants to donate as little as $1 to the Springs of Hope Orphanage in Kenya. You can make that $1 back and then some by entering your favorite shot from your walk into our contest, with a chance to win amazing prizes from our sponsors". When you register for the walk, it will have a place for you to donate if you wish. You can donate as little as a dollar. Please register for the walk on the link above, this will ensure you have a spot and helps me with knowing the attendance. Thanks, Andrea
