She4C [choice • confidence • change • culture]

She4C was created to provide workshops, events, and resources to educate and explore what it means to be a woman in today’s world. Where we have come to and where we are going? What does it mean to be "a free woman"? And what are we doing as a culture of women with those freedoms?

We will be bringing together women with different backgrounds and offer the opportunity to ask these deeper questions and to serve as role models in a shared commitment to create the next step for Woman.

Working and living in a city like New York, we are swimming in a sea of mixed messages that evoke a myriad of responses, drives, insecurities, conclusions, hopes and beliefs. What are we using as our compass? How aware are we of what motivates us and inspires us? How consciously are we choosing who we want to be and how we want to be? And why does it often feel confusing trying to figure all of that out...like there are different things going on in us all that makes it sometimes hard to navigate?

We have our sights set at She4C on not only helping to clarify our collective experiences, but to also open up a forum to investigate where to go and what to create next. As women with so many freedoms and opportunities, what do we want to take with us and what do we no longer need as we evolve as a species and a culture? How are we showing up in the workplace? What is the culture at work that women share? How many women leaders are there out there? And how do we feel about that?

We have been inspired by the work of so many amazing women from Gerda Lerner, Simone de Beauvoir, Vimala Thakar, and Betty Friedan, to the pioneering women of EnlightenNext including Dr. Elizabeth Debold, Mary Adams, and Amy Edelstein. There is so much to share and so much to do with what we are understanding more deeply.

She4C is a platform to explore our CHOICES, what is the source of our CONFIDENCE, what will catalyze the CHANGES we want, and what is the new CULTURE we are inspired to create?
