GYROKINESISŪ is such a healing, empowering form of movement I wanted to offer it by donation so anyone can come, and Erwin Park provides a peaceful, natural setting.
Anyone can do it. GYROKINESISŪ is gentle, rhythmic movement and comes from dance, swimming, yoga and tai chi. We begin seated on stools and follow the breath, gently loosening the spine and joints into full range of motion. The fluid movement mobilizes the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating movements, stimulating the body's internal organs while stretching and strengthening the body.
We meet from 9-10am on Saturdays. Erwin Park is on Erwin, 1 block N. of Oxnard and Valley College between Atoll and Ethel. (Note: no "facilities." Come empty:>))
Bring a yoga mat and a desire to move!
Curious but need more info? You can see a video of a GYROKINESISŪ class on my website. Please visit www.InspiringMotion.com
