Shoal of Art Drawing and Painting

This group is for people to draw and paint together sometimes with tuition, which I provide.

I called the group “Shoal” in contrast to “School” because in a shoal the fish swim somewhat independently but in a school they all swim in the same direction.

I am running quite a few events each week, so if you want to manage the volume of emails you receive, please click on "My profile" in the top right corner of Shoal of Art meetup page and then on "Email and notifications".

If you need to speak to me you can reach me on 079390 346 930

Here is a summary of our regular meetups:-

Monday afternoon 130 pm to 4 pm. Art in the Park. Drawing and painting in Victoria Park with an established and friendly group. Tuition available. Meeting at the Pavilion cafe.

Tuesday evening 7 pm to 930 pm: Drawing class in the Roman Road Art Cafe. This has been running since early in May and a small group of very friendly people attend. There are still places spare so do come along if you would like to develop your drawing. The class is great for beginners but also offers some interesting approaches so that more experienced people can develop in new ways. The fee is £10 for a single session or you can buy a block 5 for £40.

Wednesday afternoon 1:30 pm to 5 pm: Drawing around London. Drawing and social meetup. Parks streets and museums. This session is free.

Wednesday evening 7 pm to 930 pm: Now running every week in the Royal Inn on the Park. A lively session with a dozen of more people, sitting for each other for 15 minutes each, and a good half hour break for a chat. The pub does food and bar snacks if you need a bite to eat. This session is free.

Sunday afternoon 2 pm to 430 pm in the Topolski cafe. Drawing from a model with feedback from a tutor if you wish. We do some quick poses to warm up and then some longer studies. The fee is £7.

I hope you can come to one of these. Please feel free to make suggestions on the Meetup site. I hope to see you soon.
